Brenda Gaines - CEO, BG CONSULTING SERVICES, LLC BG Consulting Services, LLC (BGC) was founded in 2013 by Ms. Brenda Gaines (BG) who serves as CEO. From 2008-2013, Ms. Gaines, a transformational leader and former federal healthcare executive led the strategic planning, establishment and/or reorganization of 13 DoD Medical Executive Agencies (located around the globe) and managed a contract portfolio and budget of $7.4B. She was the “go-to” person known by Office of the POTUS, members of Congress, Offices of the Secretariats of Defense and Army; the U.S. Army Surgeon General, Under Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs and the U.S. Army Medical Command for “Getting the Job Done Right the First Time.” BGC is an 8(a), Service-Disabled and Woman-Owned Small Business providing effective, timely Technology and Administrative solutions to our clients. BGC is comprised of seasoned “Transformational Leaders and Change Agents” with over 40+ years of senior/executive-level experience providing healthcare administration, program management, strategic planning and operational support advisory services to key senior leaders in DoD, Veterans Affairs, Federal Government, Members of Congress, and the Military Health System.


Ms. Gaines has served on a host of executive boards and committees, most notably: The Defense Health Board – A Federal Advisory Committee to the Secretary of Defense that provides independent advice/recommendations on matters pertaining to DoD healthcare policy and Healthcare research. My Sister’s Place – A world renowned shelter for Domestic Violence Prevention She earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Southern Illinois University. Ms. Gaines’ service awards for Distinguished Service includes: Meritorious Civilian Service, Order of The Military Medical Merit, Distinguished Member of the U.S. Army Medical Department Regiment, Governors; Office of the POTUS’, Chief of Staff/Secretary of the Army and Health Affairs medals/coins. Ms. Gaines, an Adjunct Professor, taught courses in Organizational Leadership, Change Management and Human Resources. She also served as a GriefShare Facilitator and is passionate about feeding and clothing the homeless, protecting women/children against violence, sex trafficking and hunger. As a Christian and Certified Life Coach, she also leads a women’s Discipleship to help women grow and heal through the love of Christ. She is married to the love of her life, Jeff Gaines and an adoring parent to Jeffery and Candice; adoring mother-in-law to Ryann and Anthony and thankful to God for the apples of her eye – Matthew, Brooklyn and Logyn. She loves to read, dance, exercise and travel.
